Dr. Courtney Arianne Washington is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician hailing from New Orleans. She attended St. Mary’s Dominical High School and later obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2009. Dr. Washington completed her medical studies at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017 and later her residency at Medical City Fort Worth in 2020. As a specialist in preventative medicine, aesthetics, and medical weight loss, Dr. Washington has built a reputation for developing valuable and long-lasting relationships with her patients. She has published research articles in esteemed medical journals such as the Journal of Pediatric Blood & Cancer and the Archives of Biochemistry and Biophysics. Moreover, Dr.Washington is passionate about community engagement. As a public speaker, she shares health tips and medical commentary through her “Dr. NOLA Knows” Youtube channel and podcast “All About the Medicine with Dr. NOLA Knows”. 

Dr. Washington is also a  motivational speaker who has appeared on the main stage at Essence Festival of Culture. Her talents span beyond the clinic, to the television screen as a regular guest on the news and as the medical consultant for the Emmy Nominiated Disney⁺ series, based on Kwame Alexander’s John Newbery Award winning novel “The Crossover”.
